Android hardware testing is now open

We are validating PDF rendering, S Pen behavior, export and sustained study sessions on real Samsung tablets before KivoNote reaches Google Play. If you use a Galaxy Tab S device with S Pen, you can request testing access today. Standard includes every feature for up to 10 PDFs and 10 notebooks; Full removes those library limits.

How KivoNote keeps a 500-page PDF light

Long lecture PDFs are the workload KivoNote is built around, so the reader does not try to hold an entire textbook in memory at once. Pages render as gapless vertical flow, and only the page in front of you plus its immediate neighbors are prepared while you move — the rest of the document stays lazy until you scroll to it. Pinch zoom scales the whole continuous document together, from 0.42× to 4×, so a diagram on page 12 and a table on page 480 stay at consistent proportions. Local search and bookmarks then let you jump straight to a page without scrolling past everything in between. This qualification work on representative Samsung hardware is still in progress — see the release status for where it stands.
